My Embarrassing Streak...

As I mentioned earlier I had to leave the boy behind who suddenly attached himself to me like a barnacle to a boat.  As any good sea woman I had to clean him off; I had to rip off his emotional band-aid.  I didn't want to destroy his life long dreams (I know I'm being dramatic) so I initially went with "Thanks for asking me how my day is twice a day, but I'm not texting back" approach...it didn't work.  I gave him three days where he texted me without any reply so eventually I sent him a "let's be friends message."  As I expected he said something like "oh that's good"--Then why are you so concerned with my well being??  Then next time I saw him he still had that twinkle in his eye as he kissed my cheek...oh dear.

But now!....He is in a relationship?!?  Its great for him, he obviously found a girl that is all for is clingy, overly sincere personality.  Glad that girl is not me, but this all went down a week ago.  Leading to two conclusions:  Him and her just moved that quickly, or he was hanging out and clinging on both of us at the same time!  That is a lot of checking in on his part.  Either way...I dodged that bullet.

To make matters worse this a recurring theme in my life.  Over the summer a similar situation happened except he became engaged! A bit more extreme, and he even though he told me it was legit I later found out it was a joke...?  Regardless intense background checks will now be done on any guy who even asks for my number.

My First Masterpiece.

About a week ago someone asked me what my favorite song was. I couldn't think of it then, but here it is. I love the melody, and the biblical allusions. It is relatable on so many levels.  LOVE IT!!

Blackout Before we got Knocked Out

GAME DAY!!! Tired and oh so pumped for one of the most monumental games in UTES history.  Too bad we had our asses kicked, 47-7 by the Horned Frogs...Why haven't they changed their mascot yet?  The sound like a bunch of hormonal frogs that couldn't break the spell.

All night long..all night we waited to get into the inner pit at ESPN's College Game Day.  In the end we had a blast even thought we left the showing early.  Our beds were sounding better then being in the cheering crowd.  Luckily we had Shaky and Whittingham to keep us company.

Dropping the One Week Ball and Chain

First, I needed to add some pictures.  A little spicing up never hurt anyone.  Also, go me for deciding that the needy boy who got me pretty flowers, but texts me non stop all day needs to peace out.  If I don't text you back its because I am either busy or I just don't like you.  Its a universal truth so we'll see if he catches on.

COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE!!

My first blogging experience...

I have this acid reflux thing...its called GERD, but that sounds gross so I usually just say, "Hey I have reflux."  Then most of the time i follow up by saying its GERD but that sounds gross, defeating the purpose.  Anyway, because I have this reflux I am not supposed to have caffeine, cinnamon, alcohol, or anything other yummy vice.  Before I found this out I was an avid coffee drinker; I had at least a Venti coffee everyday with half & half plus two splenda's.  Then the worst thing happened...the almighty doctor of genius said cut back on your caffeine.  I knew this would be difficult so I decided to go cold turkey...worst headache of my life.

This was four months ago.  I have had a couple sips here and there, but those don't really count.  Then this morning I had a meeting at 7:00 AM.  As usual I woke up at 6:30, rushed to the meeting, got there late and just a little bit a sleep.  Also, we were in the library cafe, which sells the most delicious IBIS coffee.  I have always resisted even though I leave with the slightest smell of cafe on my nose.  Today I couldn't resist the urge.  I went for it and got my self a small cup.  Needless to say, as you have probably already deciphered from my long winded, scattered writing...I am tweaking out.  In class I was commenting on a reading I have not read.  I think I may be twitching a little right now, and I just feel so chatty.  Unfortunately, I am in the library where most are cramming for that test they have in 20 minutes, and something tells me they wouldn't enjoy some over caffeinated stranger telling them their lives.  Ergo, I have decided to blog instead.  I hope you enjoy it.
